The organic farms at Cuixmala not only provide fresh healthy food for our guests but are also an example of how farms and habitats can co-exist in a positive way.
Because no chemical fertilizers or pesticides are used, the organic farms have minimum impact on the surrounding environment and allow the natural life cycles of the flora and fauna to be safe guarded.
Cuixmala’s outreach program to local farmers not only teaches them the techniques of organic farming but it has also helped to increase their farm’s productivity which in turn has helped the local economy.
The farms produce a wide array of fruits, vegetables and grains which are used by our master chefs to create seasonal dishes inspired by the latest harvest. Guests have the opportunity to visit the organic farms while at Cuixmala.
